It is the year 2030. An Instagram photo of the heroine being pregnant in 2020, unfolds memories from her experience in quarantine. Ten-year-old Joy and her mother take turns, narrating their experience during the first lockdown, due to the Covid19 pandemic. At times, a wonderful journey to self-awareness and other times, nightmares and terror.
Our character lives in the fascinating world of his imagination where loneliness is a comfort norm. The quarantine doesn't scare him, on the contrary his favourite movie opens a window into a world where new series of events unfold right in front of his eyes.Loneliness lives within us, the trick is to know how to deal with it, or dive into an insidious condition.

The short movie ‘Hug Me’ is more of an informative movie on how a child resorts to any other activity than the one she should be engaged in. Through our lens we witness a concerned mother trying to help her daughter to overcome this situation. Stress is a very common feeling we have all experienced and quite overwhelming for young kids who don’t know how to deal with. An observant parent can prevent this from spiralling into chronic anxiety.
